Digitally "Sweet" Challenge #26 Lost In Time

Photobucket

Hi everyone, and welcome to the next challenge at Digitally "Sweet" Challenges. Firstly, I must thank those of you who played in our last challenge.

The theme this week is

LOST IN TIME: USE A CLOCK/WATCH IN YOUR DIGITAL CREATION.

We are being sponsored by Cedar Chest Designs this week

and I am using the Owl Set and the Steam Punk Parlour kit from Daisy Trail.

These are some pictures of my daughters from last summer. We were walking around the abbey in Wells and noticed some people gathered around a tent. We walked over to see what was going on and saw a display of birds. We found that you could buy an experience - holding the bird of your choice. the girls chose to hold the Barn Owl and I was so pleased with the way they behaved - the children that is!! - they were mesmerised. I chose to hold the Eagle (adults only for this one because he was so heavy). We were all smiling broadly after our experience - and I am sure we will never forget it.

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:-

Craft Us Crazy - Anything Goes,

DL.ART - March Linky party anything goes,

Paper Crafting Journey - Anything But A Card,

Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes,

Artistic Impressions Challenge - Things with wings,

Created With Love - Anything Goes,

Kaboodle Doodles - Anything But A Card,

Paper Playtime - Anything Goes,

Aud Sentiments Challenge #75 Easter/Spring Sentiment

Hi everyone, it's time for some more inspiration for the current challenge at Aud Sentiments.  I hope you are enjoying this challenge which is of course...

EASTER/SPRING SENTIMENT

Our sponsor this time is Prairie Fairy Designs

I have used Just Ducky for my first card.

I have made my favourite - an easel card. The image has been coloured with Promarkers, and the glasses have been glazed and I used a sakura startdust gel pen for the rims. A few pearls artfully placed and some lovely green ribbon to finish it off.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:-

The Ribbon Girls Challenge - Ribbon/Twine,

The Ribbon Carousel Challenge - Spring is in the air,

Party Time Tuesdays - Die Cuts,

Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes,

Creative Card Crew - Ribbon, and,

Passion for Promarkers - Card for a lady/girl.

My second card has been made using Spring Ducks...

and here it is again with a couple of interested visitors!!!

They love to lend a helping paw!

This was a precoloured image which I have just die cut and layered onto a paper from a Nitwits collection called Egg-stra Special. The ribbon and butterfly are from Hobby Craft and were actually bought for the children to use but I sort of borrowed some!!! I think I went overboard with the pearls but I like the effect. The butterfly is covered in crystal glitter - hope you can make it out.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:-

Flutterby Wednesdays - Open but must have a butterfly or fairy,

Heck of a Challenge - Spring/Butterflies and pearls,

Dream Valley Challenge - Ribbon and bling,

Forever friends Challenge - Lots of flowers, and,

Don't forget to check out the blog for more inspiration.

Hugs

Breathes a huge sigh of relief as the children have gone back to school and I have a day to recover before I go back to work tomorrow!!! Don't get me wrong I love my children to bits but my 6 year old is pushing the boundaries so hard ...... it literally hurts.
Anyhow, I just had to enter the challenge at Julianna Kneipp's blog  using the template on her blog. I have used one of her freebies My Sunshine, I so love her kits and I just hope I have done it justice.

Our next February challenge is an easy one............

HEARTS AND FLOWERS

We are being sponsored by Cedar Chest Designs this week

and I am using the Valentine Love set and the Love grows here image.

I have used Craft Artist Professional V2 and coloured the image using the paint option - needs a lot more practice me thinks!!

At leaast I can relax a bit whilst creating. My darling youngest daughter had me in tears this morning - how come a 6 year old is able to manipulate her parents so easily but her parents can't do the same back??? I really could do with the parenting manual that doesn't exist!!!!

Digitally "Sweet" Challenge #21 Anything but a Scrap layout or card

Photobucket

Hi everyone, and welcome to the next challenge at Digitally "Sweet" Challenges. Firstly, I must thank those of you who played in our last challenge.

For the month of February our challenges have been chosen by my team mate Ann - unfortunately, she has had to leave the team but she has chosen some great challenges for you.

The first one is.............

ANYTHING BUT A SCRAPBOOK LAYOUT OR CARD

.................so calendars, tags, cupcake wrappers, bags, boxes could be your choice.

We are sponsored this week by Limited Runs Digital Stamps and some of the team have used their images so don't forget to check them out - their inks are on my left sidebar.

I have made a photyo book using Craft Artist Professional v2 so it is a bit photo heavy!!!

and

and

and last 2 pages.

I have used another Daisy Trail kit called Cats and Dogs. As you can see I have used our cats as the main focus of the book. They are 8 months old now and it is so lovely when they are both sitting on my lap purring away like trains. Alex, who is in one of the photos has a much better way withthem than Emily - she just chases them, pulls their tails and picks them up (the wrong way!!) - no wonder she occasionally gets scratched!

I would like to enter this project in the following challenges:-

My Time To Craft - Things with Wings,

Paper Playtime - Use some borown,

Party time Tuesdays - Anything Goes,

Simon Says Stamp Challenges - Anything Goes,

Flutterby Wednesdays Anything Goes with a butterfly, fairy or angel,

Digistamps 4 Joy - Anything Goes,

Crafty Creations Challenge - Anything But A Card,

Crafting By Designs - Animal Antics, and,

Crafty Ribbons Challenge - Anything Goes with a ribbon.

Hugs
