Aud Sentiments Challenge #85 Inspiration

Hi everyone, it's time for some more inspiration for the current challenge at Aud Sentiments. 

Our challenge this fortnight is to use a

and here is my inspiration for you..

 

 

I have used the Pretty Flowers digi stamp from our sponsor. I have used Promarkers for some simple colouring and added some die cut butterflies. The background was made using a free stamp from The Craft Stamper magazine and my distress marker - colour Dusty Concord. I have used the Spellbinders die Labels 15 to cut the two squares. the paper I used was a freebie from Bearly Mine Designs some time ago now.

Digitally "Sweet" Challenge #45 Sunshine and Summertime

Hi everyone, and welcome to the next challenge at Digitally "Sweet" Challenges. Firstly, I must thank those of you who played in our last challenge.

 Our challenge this week is to create a project with a very appropriate theme at the moment in the UK at least.........

SUNSHINE & SUMMERTIME

Here is my inspiration using the Water Everywhere Elements and paper kits.

 

These pictures were taken in June this year whilst Alex was away for the weekend with school. We took Emily to the beach and as you can see she had a ball jumping around in the waves. I have used the picture of the yachts as a background with one of the papers from the kit. Using Craft Artist you just put the picture on your background and use the blend mode to choose a style that works with the paper. Then I had to try not to obliterate that picture with my photos because I wanted to still see the yachts!!! By the way the water was absolutely freezing but I am so glad that didn't stop Emily having fun.

Hopefully you will be able to have fun too showing us your summer sunshine creations.

Here is my inspiration for you..

 

Every time I go to Dartmoor Zoo I get some fantastic Tiger photos unlike at Paignton Zoo where they hide away and you can only catch a glimpse if you are lucky or go on the little train! Tigers are by far my favourite of the big cats and as you can see from the pictures that's just what they are as my two cats do these poses frequently lol.

I have used Craft Artist Professional 2 and a kit called Green Eyed Monster by Sugarplum Paperie.

I have used Edward Elephant - Flower which has been coloured using Promarkers. The ribbon was from Hobby Craft and the sentiment was from a set I was given but sadly disintegrated after use - that is the first time that has ever happened to me. The papers were from a freebie paper pack but I have lost the cover so can't tell you who they are by - sorry.

RECIPE FOR A PICNIC.

Hi everyone, and welcome to the next challenge at Digitally "Sweet" Challenges. Firstly, I must thank those of you who played in our last challenge.

 Our challenge this week is to create a project using the following inspiration..

We are being sponsored by Lacey Sunshine and I have used one of her precoloured digis - Birthday Girl.

 

I used Craft Artist Professional Version 2 to cut out the image of the flower to use as a background to the card. A sweet simple creation to help inspire you.

Aud Sentiments Challenge #83 Summer

Hi everyone, it's time for some more inspiration for the current challenge at Aud Sentiments.  Before I talk about the challenge I would like to say a sad farewell to our outgoing DT members
and wish them well in blogland. Thank you for all your wonderful creations girls we will miss you.

This of course means that we will be welcoming some new ladies to our team next week. I hope you will make them feel at home.

Now onto the current challenge which is

 ....to use a Summer related sentiment.... Fun in the Sun, Picnic Time, Surfs Up  Use your imagination and have fun!

Here is my inspiration for you

 

 

I was having a play colouring on kraft card and was really happy with how this turned out. The image is from Lili of the Valley and is called Little Mermaid 2. The cross hatch blue stuff on the background is a rub on - don't use them very often I must say. The sun is a die cut piece but you can't have summer without it!! The wave paper is from a Summer Driggs kit called She Sells Sea Shells, and I finished it off with a bit of faux stitching around the die cuts using a white gel pen.

The words are sort of inspired by art journals etc - an area I am finding really interesting at the moment.

Digitally "Sweet" Challenge #41 Celebration/Graduation

Hi everyone, and welcome to the next challenge at Digitally "Sweet" Challenges. Firstly, I must thank those of you who played in our last challenge.

 Our challenge this week is to create a project for a

CELEBRATION OR GRADUATION.

and I have used an old kit called Cutie Pie....

 

I have adjusted the colours of the kit and added a couple of bits from a kit called Fly Away by Sugarplum Paperie, Bohemian Beauty (No longer available) and Background Noise by Jenn Barrette.

 

My Mother-In-Law recently celebrated her 75th Birthday by taking the family out to a local Italian Restaurant in the Cathedral City of Wells. We had a great time and Alex took some photos of the food so here you go!!

 

 

 I decided to make another page just changed the photos, words and journaling.

Digitally "Sweet" Challenge #40 Pinterest Inspiration and New Rules........please read

Hi everyone, and welcome to the next challenge at Digitally "Sweet" Challenges. Firstly, I must thank those of you who played in our last challenge.

 Our challenge this week is to take inspiration from this image from Pinterest............

 

I have tried to incorporate the colours and the jars.............

 

 

I have used Craft Artist Professional V2 and the Vintaj kit Autumn Crush. The jars are from a Polka Doodles kit called Picknix Collection 1 the Welcome Home part.

 

Now before I go any further you need to know that our entry rules have changed...

 

Hi everyone!! We have been doing some soul searching here at DSC and we've decided to open our challenge up a little more to the addition of digital images. Denise and I started this challenge in hopes of keeping it 100% digital, but we've come to the realization that some of you just aren't ready for that yet, but are interested in learning more about it. So, with that being said, we are excited to announce that we are going to change things up a little! You can now enter our challenge with a digital image on a traditional layout, card or project! BUT, there is a little extra reward for those doing 100% digital:

• ALL entries now qualify for TOP 3 and giveaways
• 100% digital will get TWO entries in the giveaways

So we're still encouraging you to be as digital as possible, but we want to recognize all of you who enter our challenge. For some of you that are just starting to play with digital images, we want to recognize you to! We'll be looking for tutorials that we can post for you to learn a little more about the digital world and maybe, in time, you'll jump in with both feet and give it a try! We're always here to help!!!!!!!
