Aud Sentiments Challenge #31 Food or Drink theme

Oh dear everyone so sorry this is late. I would have scheduled my post but my Mum was rushed to Hospital yesterday evening with a suspected stroke. All is well however, she is back home and she is fine - no stroke. BUT I did spend a rather sressful 20 minutes driving to the Hospital with all sorts of horrible things going through my mind so when the Nurse said she was OK I burst into tears!!!! I felt so stressed and relieved at the same time.
Anyway thank you for another fantastic set of entries to our last challenge and check out the Aud Sentiments site to see who won and our top 3 - it was tough.

This fortnight we would like to see Food and Drink related theme and sentiment.

The sponsor is Robyns Fetish and we could choose some images to use. I have used The Teapot and here is my creation.

I did try to do one in a different theme but didn't finish it in time.

Please check out my team mates for some more inspiration - their links are on my sidebar.

Just a couple of challenges to enter:-

Everybody Art - Anything Goes,

I Love Promarkers - Anything Goes (my image has been coloured using Promarkers),

Cupcake Inspirations - I have used the colours in the photo, and,

Saturday Challenge - Household item.

Have fun!

Flower Power

Good evening everyone, hope all is well in blogland! I am not at my most productive at the moment and Mr Mojo is on holiday but I did manage to have a play at one of my favourite sites at the moment - Less Is More - who want a one layer card and a frame. I have used a Cuttlebug embossing folder called Flower Circle - I thought it would be just right. Then I added some purple, yellow and green glitter and finished it off with a sentiment from my last candy win - Cute Greetings by Wild Rose Studio.
Believe me it looks a lot better in real life - my photos suck at the moment!!!! Ho Hum!!!
I would also like to enter this card in the challenge at Birthday Sundaes - Wet or dry embossing and Totally Gorjuss - Flower Power.

I would also like to say that I will be having my second anniversary candy soon - once I pull myself together that is!!!!!! - keep watching.

Die Cut Dreams Challenge #91

Hi everyone, hope you are having a good day. It's Monday and time for the next challenge at Die Cut Dreams and do we have a great one for you.

It is a recipe:-

3 Flowers,
3 Stamps and
a Bow

Here is my card and I hope you find some inspiration ...

The three stamps I have used are the Flower Fairy - Candytuft and the butterfly and border stamp from the same set. I have had these for some time - can't imagine why I haven't inked her up before. She has been coloured with watercolour crayons. The background papers are from the Flower Fairies CDRom Candytuft and Canterbury Bell. I have used copious amounts of crystal glitter!!!!
I didn't have the right colour of ribbon so I used a white satin ribbon coloured with a pink Promarker - best tip I have ever found as you can match any ribbon colour.

Here is a closeup of the flowers and butterflies.

Please check out my team mates for some more fabulous inspiration and I can't wait to see what you come up with.

I am entering this card in the following challenges

Aud Sentiments Challenge #29 Male Sentiment

Hi everyone, hope you are all well. Firstly, I need to make an apology to all those of you who played in our last challenge because I was unable to comment on your entries - blogger seems to be playing up and it just wouldn't let me comment.
Anyhow on to our next challenge which is to use a MALE SENTIMENT.
We are being sponsored by

who let us have a few images to play with.

As Father's Day is coming up I thought I would get a head start

I used the sketch at The Sweet Stop which needs to have a masculine theme.

I hope you will play along at Aud Sentiments and don't forget to check out my team mates blogs for some more inspiration - their links are on my left sidebar.

Die Cut Dreams #90 Dawn's Sketch

OK so where is time going - I can't believe we are nearly through May and another school holiday is coming up. Anyway it is time for another challenge at Die Cut Dreams and we have a fantastic sketch from our gorgeous second in command! Dawn AKA Craftykitten..................

.........and here is my take on it.............

I have used one of my new Tildas - isn't she cute. She is coloured with Aquamarkers and glittered. The papers are from Papermania called Henbury Lane. Some are already glittered like the darker pink one and then I added extra bits to the flowery one! I have also glittered the flowers around the edge too. I have distressed everything on the edges with Worn Lipstick distress ink.

So have fun and can't wait to see what you come up with.

I am entering the following challenges:-
Charisma Cardz Challenges - Pink Birthdays,

Crafty Catz Challenge - Anything Goes,

Creative Card Crew - Cute and Girly,

Paperplay Challenge - Sparkle Galore,

Simon Says Challenge - Sparkle and shine,

Truly Scrumptious - Anything Goes and,

Sweet Stamps - Birthday.

Hugs for now

Fancy Fold or what?

Finally!!!! I hope blogger is going to bring back my previous post!!
I for one am glad it isn't Friday 13th again - boy did I have a bad one - only thing is I can't discuss it here but suffice to day it has something to do with my job.
Anyway enough of the cryptic chatter on with my triple easel card. I worked out how to do this fairly quickly but couldn't think what images I wanted to use. Eventually my mojo kicked in and I came up with a sentiment as the focal point - from one of Sheena's Little bit Sketchy range - Best Friend Swirls. I have used the swirls in the background and on the die cuts, in the background too.
Here is a closeup of the centre............

I stamped the image and swirls with TH Distress Inks, then distressed the edges in the same colour (Blue China). The butterflies are from an Aspects of Design set called Flitters and Flutters. I used Sheenas Wow EP that I bought at the NEC last year - a lovely glitter turqouise shade. The flowers were made with the Marianne Creatable - Ribbon Floral #1 with a gem brad at the centre.

So what do you think? I have managed to find a few challenges to enter!

Let's Ink It Up - 3D Flower and sentiment (no digis),

Creatalicious Challenge - Flourishes,

Totally Gorjuss - Not a Square,

Daring Cardmakers - Darling bugs of May,

Stamp Something - Anything Goes,

Delightful Sketches - Flowers,

Everybody Art - Flowers,

Tuesday Throwdown - Die Cuts,

A big thank you

Good evening everyone, hope you are all well. Just finished work and thought I would post this card whilst I am cooking tea - let's hope I don't burn anything!!
This is a special card I have made for the nursery my two girls have been going to. They both started going at about 6 months and my youngest is about to leave. They have done a fantastic job with the girls - they are really confident (not in a nasty way of course!) and sociable and mix with all ages. Emily starts school full time in September so it is the end of an era in a way.

Anyway I have used the new Polka Doodles Cd Double Sprinkle of Kraft  - the owls are sooooo cute.
Here is a close up........

.........and..........

I have layered up the images and added some glitter and used some card candy along the bottom.

Whoops sausages nearly burnt!!!!

Just a few challenges to enter......................

Creative Craft World - Anything but a square

Craffty Creations - Anything Goes,

Paper Playtime - Make a tall or long card,

Kaboodle Doodles - Lots of layers,

The Crazy Challenge - Anything Goes, and,

Sentimental Sundays - Anything Goes.

Let me know what you think.

Hugs
