Totally Tilda Challenge #40 Midway reminder

Good Morning everyone, I have a little surprise for you. As you know I was on the team at the Die Cut Dreams Challenge which recently had to close. Well, the wonderful owner of DCD - Susie Sugar - asked me if I would like to be a Guest Designer at the Totally Tilda Challenge - so no guesses for my answer - doh! Yes of course. Any road up Susie decided to have a bit of a reorganisation and asked me to become a permanent member of the team. To say I am over the moon would be an understatement. Since becoming a blogger I have fallen in love with Magnolia stamps so to be invited to join a team of Tilda lovers is to say the least the pinnacle of my blogging career.

OK, enough drivel, here is my card to remind you of the challenge currently running over at Totally Tilda ......................

TILDA WITH A HAT ON

......................... and here is my card using

Koala Tilda.

...isn't she cute. I have coloured her using Promarkers and then put her in front of the outline of Australia - I thought that was appropriate!!! I have used various stamps from the Papermania urban collection - the birds and the tag. The background paper is from a Craft Artist digikit called Forbidden City.

Here is a closeup.............

The fern in the corner was a punch - I have coloured the pieces with distress inks. Then I put the heart button on top with some twine to finish it off. I used the punched out card as a stencil and used the distress inks again.

To enter the challenge go to this post at Totally Tilda, and have fun.

I would love to know what you think.

I am also entering this card in the following challenges:-

Allsorts Challenge - Anything Goes,

Alpahbet Challenge - A is for Animal Antics,

I printed the silhouette onto a paper from one of my Craft Artist digikits. The background paper is from a Crafters Companion CD - I don't know which as it was in my scrap box. The flowers are from 3 Birds - Perfectly Pretty Petals kit with a black jewel brad in the middle from Papermania. The butterflies were a birthday pressie from my mate Crafty Kitten - thanks darling. I have used a Spellbinders Shapeability - Bird Flourishes  cut out of black glitter card for the foliage under the flowers. Finally I stamped the sentiment from an Aspects of design sheet called Daisy Daydreams - designed by Kay Carley - just love her work.
