Last card of 2010.

Hope you have all survived Christmas and are looking forward to the New Year. Father Christmas managed to get the right presents for my two little ones and even Mummy got it right too!!! Phew!!!

So I have not had much time to play but did ink up a new acquisition - the Be Neighbourly stamp set from Polka Doodles. I find I watch Nikky on Create and Craft and wonder just how she manages it. My scene is coloured with promarkers but I didn't use the same method as Nikky. I do however, like the result - lucky ehh!!!! The papers are from another Polka Doodles product - All Around & Everywhere, teamed up with a bright pink matting layer - yummy - distressed nicely too. The buttons are paper with some ribbon which actually came off one of my daughters presents!!

I am entering a few challenges:-

Dutch Dare - New Beginnings,

Passion for Promarkers - Anything Goes,

My Time To Craft - Brand Spanking New, and,

I Love Promarkers - Anything Goes

It just remains for me to say that I hope you all have a Happy and Healthy New Year. Thank you to everyone who leaves me comments, it is really appreciated and honestly keeps me going.

Hugs

Winter layout

Please scroll down for the Christmas Message I made!!!

This is a layout I made using Digital Scrapbook Artist 2 and some pictures I took on 18th December - hence the title! The pictures were taken on the hill just behind our house. The children were a little disappointed because the snow was so powdery they couldn't make a big snowman just little ones!
This is the layout I used on some of the Christmas cards I sent to family this year - perfect.

I am entering the layout in the following challenges:-

Allsorts Challenge - Anything Goes,

Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes,

The Crazy Challenge - Let It Snow,

Rainbow Ladys Challenge - Your choice of last years challenges - I chose #129 Christmas Animals,

Sew Many Challenges - Anything Goes,

Critter Challenge - Anything Christmas, and,

Craft Your Passion Challenge - Christmas Theme.

Merry Christmas everyone

Hugs to you all everywhere.

Aud Sentiments Challenge # 18 Anything Goes

Another fortnight has flown by and I hope you have everything you need for Christmas. Thank you for all your gorgeous Happy Holidays creations - please check out the Aud Sentiments Challenge blog to find out the winner and top 3.

Now for this fortnights challenge it is Anything Goes so let yourself go and show us some more fantastic work. One other important thing for this challenge - it is a DT call. If you would like to be considered all you have to do is put DT after your name when you join in with the challenge - simple.
Our sponsor for this challenge is Karber Digital Images.

Here is my DT creation - something a little bit different.

(Click on th eimage for a larger version)

I have been playing with Digital Scrapbook Artist (DSA2) and a stamped image of Fir Tree Tilda I was given recently. She was coloured with watercolour crayons and glittered. I then took a photo of her on a black background. She has been modified in DSA2 - removing the background - to produce a PNG image and flipped on the left. She can now be any size - how great is that. I have used two digikits from Daisytrail called Winter Wonderland and Paper Forest to create the scene.

Please check out my talented team mates for some more inspiration - their links are on my left sidebar. I look forward to seeing what you come up with. I would also like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Take care everyone.

Just a few challenges to enter:-

Sentimental Sundays - Inspired by a song (Walking in a Winter Wonderland),

The Corrosive Challenge - non traditional Christmas colours,

Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Anything Goes,

Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes,

My Time To Craft - Santa Baby (Well she is dressed like Santa and is female - not sure this fits?),

Creative Craft Challenges - Anything Goes,

Crafts and Me Challenge - Anything Goes.

All That Scraps Magnolia Challenge - Winter where you are.

Hugs to you all

Taking it easel!

Did you like the title!!! Firstly, I must apologise for the photo, the light is terrible at the moment so it really doesn't look good at all. This card is specifically for the challenge at Totally Tilda because I love easel cards and of course the gorgeous Tilda - I have my bestest crafting buddy Dawn to thank for this image - thanks hun. She has been coloured with Inktense water colour crayons and glittered up!!!

The close up is just as bad!! The papers are left overs and have been in my stash forever as has the ribbon. The sentiment is from a Fairy Doodles stamp set. My ever present nesties and a borderability have finished the card off.

We have been sort of snowed in for a few days. I say sort of because it is just our cul de sac - the rest of the roads are fairly clear except for the main roads to work - but I didn't have to go in today. I don't have to tomorrow but I need to make up some time. At least if it is really bad I can stay at home and not loose annual leave. By the way - did anyone in the South West hear the thunder last night??? I thought our next door neighbour had been blown up it was so loud!!!

Anyway back to business - here are the challenges I am entering:-

All That Scraps Magnolia Challenge - Winter where you live,

Stamptacular Sunday - Treeemendous,

Alphabet Challenge - H is for Hats,

Move Along With the Times - Let it snow,

The Crafty Pad, Allsorts Challenge, Aly's Sunday Challenge, Creative Friday and Crafty Sentiments all have an Anything Goes theme.

Let me know you have stopped by - I love reading your comments.

Aud Sentiments Challenge #17 Holidays!

Oh my what a week I have had - best not talk about it as something else might happen!!!!

Can you believe we are on to our 17th challenge at Aud Sentiments - please check out the blog to see who won.

Our challenge this fortnight is to use the word Holidays in your sentiment - ideal for this time of year. We are lucky to have the fabulous Bugaboo Stamps sponsoring us.

Yes you can win seven of their unique digis. I have just checked out their cute snowmen range - I want them!!!! The team were lucky enough to have our choice of the Bobblehead Christmas range - I used the reindeer.

I am so pleased with how this card turned out. I have coloured my reindeer with Promarkers and layered him on to some paper I have had for years.

The border is from a Polka Doodles CD called Jingle Jangle - note to self use this again!!! I made my own sentiment using a free font called Frosty. The snowflakes were made using silver miri card and silver glitter card and an Xcut punch.

I hope you will check out my team mates creations for some more inspiration - their links are on my left sidebar.

Finally, I am entering this card in the following challenges.
