Aud Sentiments Challenge #12 Halloween Sentiment.

Do you know what - it's been like pulling teeth trying to get this post sorted out - blogger is playing up big time and I am getting just a tad frustrated.

Anyhooo onto the reason I'm here!!!! - it appears not many of you were "cheery" over the last fortnight so we are hoping that a Halloween sentiment will get your creative juices flowing. Oh and you could do the optional extra of making a treat bag or box to go with it. Check out who won at the Aud Sentiments Challenge blog.

Our sponsor this fortnight is The Cutting Cafe.

.........................and the winner will receive three sets of their choice - how cool is that!

Here is the card I made...................

........................and a little treat box too. The template is from The Cutting Cafe as is the sentiment on the top of the box and on my card plus the Boo sentiment on the card.

I have a lot of fun making Halloween cards - spooky really!!! The Haunted House has been embossed from core'dinations card which has been sanded and torn as are the circles, from the "Boo to you" embossing folder and then using Tim Holtz dostress ink - Black Soot.
I made the paper on the right with the houses on using a Daisytrail kit called Spooktacular.

I had so much fun.........

...................making this stepper card. I have managed to use 5 different stamps and for me that is a record. I started with Tilda Dressed as Bat and then masked her to put in the Spooky Metal Fence. I coloured her with watercolour crayons. I made the stepper card using a template I got from splitcoast stampers I think?

I wanted some cobwebs as the background and luckily I had ordered some inadvertantly!!! I only realised when they arrived whilst making the card! They are from Inkadinkado and called "All Hallows Eve". Anyway I stamped in white stazon and then put glitter over them. The spiders are from the same set with purple glitter on.

The sentiment is also from this set - I love the ornate swirls. The pumpkins were fron another stamp set Pumpkin and Aubergine. Then the house is a cuttlebug folder - embossed and then coloured using sakura stardust pens - I was rather pleased with the result too.
So just a couple of challenges to enter.............

...................how cool is that (wouldn't mind winning that myself - oh well never mind!!!).

Without further ado here is the tag I made - and boy did I have fun and got my fingers nice and inky!!!!!

I have used several of the Tim Holtz distress inks as a base colour then sprayed a Glimmer Mist on top. I had to let it dry off over night but was really pleased with the result. Here is a close up...........

I used a Christmas word stamp on the background. The main image is from Crafty Individuals - a stamp I received as a prize from Suzy - finally I have managed to use it as it is perfect for the vintage theme.
I inked over the stamp with the same colours as the background then used a gold pen to line the edge.
I then punched out some snowflakes from word paper and glitter card and layered them. The final touch was to add the pearl swirl - rather pleased with how this worked out.

I would love it if you could visit my team mates to see their fabulous creations for some more inspiration.....
