Aud Sentiments Challenge #11 "Cheer Up!" DT Card.

Hi everyone and what a fun time we had this last fortnight. Not only are we choosing our winner and top 3 but a few new DT colleagues as well. What a fantastic turnout as well - thank you everyone who took part.

Also don't forget that you get more chances in our monthly candy if you enter the challenge as well. Our new monthly sponsor is...........................

Our challenge at Aud Sentiments this time is to make a card, layout, bookmark etc using the sentiment "Cheer Up!" - remember you must use the sentiment to qualify.

We are being sponsored this fortnight by Robyn's Fetish and we were allowed to choose an image to use...

...............so I chose to use A Little Birdie told me ..........and here is my card...................

I have done lots of layers and lots of soft colours to tie in with the colours on the image - I thought they were quite cheery!! The matting card is all Core'dinations which has been sanded and distressed and the pink and blue papers have been distressed too using my ever present Tim Holtz distress tool and inks.
The sentiment was computer generated using the free font - Black Chancery. here is a closer view of the image.........

........... which has been coloured using Derwent Inktense watercolour crayons.

I would love it if you could visit my teammates - their names and links are on my sidebar - for some more fabulous inspiration.
Now for the challenges I am entering this card in.....

Alphabet Challenge - T is for Trees,

The Sweet Shop - I have used their sketch,

Simple Doodles and Totally Papercrafts both have a spotty and dotty challenge, and,

The Stamp Man - Distressing.

I really like this - all those layers! I never seem to quite "get" layers right!

So many of us used that image and all the cards look so different!
