Aud Sentiments Challenge #33 Enjoy Your Day

Hi everyone, and yeah the sun is shining on the first day of the school holidays - long may it last. Wow did we have a bumper entry last fortnight at Aud Sentiments - please check out the blog for the winner and top 3.

Our challenge for the next fortnight is .........................

Use the sentiment "ENJOY YOUR DAY" or any other sentiment to make us smile!

We are being sponsored by the lovely Just Some Lines

and the DT were a allowed to choose an image, I chose Cat's Meow, and here she is......

Isn't it annoying how too much sun drains all the colour from your cards - never satisfied am I!!!!!!!
I have used Promarkers for the cat plus Stardust gel pens for the flowers and stems. I have added some tiny pearls (had them for ages) for her collar and I added the sentiment above the image using Craft Artist to make it curved. The paper for the flowers and under the ribbon was from a freebie on a craft magazine. The technique for the flowers was from a magazine too - just cut three circles of different sizes, ink up the edges, scrunch up and then flatten and put three different designs together and finish off with some card candy for the centre, easy peasy (the circles don't have to be perfect either). Some gems in the corners have been in my stash since I started and are still going strong.

I am looking forward to some stunners again this time. Please check out my team mates for some more wonderful inspiration - their links are on my left sidebar.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:-

Ambers Crafts and Stuff - Circles and swirls,

Crafting for alll Seasons - Furry Friends,

Crafts and Me - Add a flower,

Fab 'n' Funky - Animal Magic,

Clear It Out - Anything Goes,

Birthday Sundaes - Anything Goes, with birthday sentiment,

I Did It Creations - Animals,

One Stitch at a Time - Flowers, and,

Scrappy Frogs - Flowers.

Hugs to you all

Die Cut Dreams Challenge #94 Animal Antics

Hi everyone, what a miserable day it is but to help brighten it up it is time for our next challenge at Die Cut Dreams.

ANIMAL ANTICS (must have four legs).

Our sponsor this week is Crimson Cloud.

So here is my DT card....................

I have used a Penny Black image from the It's Your Day set. I have just used a bit of Stardust gel pen on the present and to darken his fur. The tags have been done using Dusty Concord and Black soot distress inks and stamped with a stamp from a Hero Arts set called I Love My Cat.
The grey card has been die cut and embossed using one of the fantastic new folders from X Cut - Gardinia. I distressed the embossing and then put some little purple gems on the flowers.
Have fun and I can't wait to see what four legged animals you show us.
Please check out my team mates for some more fabulous inspiration - their links are on my left sidebar.
