I have used watercolours and distress inks for the colouring and background. The branch stamp is from Crafters Companion, and the sentiment is a Papermania one. A little bit of glitter on the branches and there you have it!!!

The Stamping Boutique Challenge #22 Photo Inspiration

Hi everyone, welcome to the final challenge for 2011 at The Stamping Boutique Challenge which is a fun one for you. Check out this fantastic cake - yes, I did say cake! What does it inspire you to make?

Well, I decided to use the image called Penguin baking ornament.......

rather appropriate I thought!!!!!

I decided to use the colours as well red, green and gold. I have coloured the bauble in with Promarkers and added some glitter. The red paper is vellum with a print from the Artilicious Cdrom - Season's Greetings wrapped with red and gold ribbon. The corners are from die cut from gold glitter card using the Spellbinders die - Fleur de Lis Accents.   

I hope you enjoy playing in our challenge and I look forward to all your creations.

The Stamping Boutique Blog Hop 9th to 11th December

Hi everyone and welcome to The Stamping Boutique Blog Hop which is being run for the entire weekend to give you plenty of time to hop!!! You will have lots of lovely inspiration from the team using the wonderful images from Tracey.

You should have arrived here from the totally inspirational Stacie if not you will need to go back to the start at Christy D's blog.

I hope you are all in the holiday spirit and are raring to go but if you need some more inspiration we thought we would have a "Thrifty Christmas-Making Handmade Gifts" blog hop.  The hop will run from December 9th-11th, since we have a large team, we want to allow you plenty of time to hop!!!

I have coloured him with Sakura star dust pens and watercolour crayons. I was waiting for the printable tissue paper from Create and Craft to get this done which was rather late in arriving for my project.

(My project has been delayed due to unforseen circumstances - the post, and my job getting in the way of crafting - shock horror. I do hope to have it ready sometime today and will edit my post when it is sorted so apologies for not having anything now. )

The image has been coloured with Promarkers and cut out with a Spellbinders die. The matt was made by just drawing around the die. The dp is from a paper pack by First Edition. The sentiment was from a craft magazine I bought recently.

Magnolia Christmas

Silly me, I was trying to do a card for the challenge at Totally Tilda but I didn't have a Magnolia image that would work with just colouring the face!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never mind I still like how my card turned out!!

A bit of torn pearlescent card, glitter, a pearl and Mariannes and Spellbinders dies and some interesting paper I had that looks like snow!!!! Oh and not forgetting the image which has been watercoloured. 

Nothing else to report other than my feet are killing me as I have to stand a lot in my new job!!!
