Digitally "Sweet" Challenge #64 Photo Inspiration

I have also used some elements from a kit called In Full Bloom by Meghan Mullens which doesn't seem to be available anymore. The words are from a Daisytrail kit called Luxury Chic.

Canvas Art

 

Wow guess what I have managed to do something for me!!! I have tried some canvas art. With this one I just covered the canvas with gesso then red acrylic paint. Around the edges I added some bronze paint then some darker areas. The heart has been die cut out of a piece of fabric using an Xcut die called Homespun Heart. I then put some of the paint on this too - lovely inky fingers. I have added some Frantage glitters and Mahogany embossing powder. The flowers have been cut using the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die then put brads in the middle. The butterfly is a Memory Box die called Vivienne and used this to cut out the background in a dark brown glitter card. The stamp is one from my stash that I won several years ago now. I have also used a stencil from Dylusions called Diamond of a Border and the bronze paint.

I was inspired by the artist over on Paperartsy, Jo Myhill. She has done three projects so I have tried to take some ideas from them and came up with this.

Aud Sentiments Challenge #94 Reminder

Hi everyone, it's time for some more inspiration for the current challenge at Aud Sentiments.

Now whether my camera is playing up because I was taking pictures into the sunshine at the weekend I'm not sure but it is not perfect so sorry about that! The image has been coloured using watercolour crayons. I have used my new purchase of the LaLa Land heart banner die along with a Magnolia Doohickey tag die. The papers are from a set called Spring Drop by First Edition.

Aud Sentiments Challenge #93 Feminine Inspiration

Hi everyone, it's time for some more inspiration for the current challenge at Aud Sentiments. 

Our challenge this fortnight is to make something with

and don't forget the sentiment.

and here is my card using Belle Pinup...

I have coloured her using Promarkers with a bit of sparkle. I have used several different die cuts, Spellbinders Labels Eighteen, Tim Holtz die called Tattered Florals and the swirls are by Marianne Designs Swirl Leaf and Frame Swirls. The shabby check was from a free paper pack and the paper for the flowers is from a Debbie Moore CD not sure which one though. I also used a Cuttlebug embossing folder called Birds and Swirls on Coordinations card and then used gold leaf on top to show off the design. The gold ric rac was from The Range and the sentiment is from a Papermania set that isn't produced anymore! I also forgot to mention the little red gems in the middle of the flowers and on two corners.

Digitally "Sweet" Challenge#60 Trees and Leaves

Hi everyone, and welcome to the next challenge at Digitally "Sweet" Challenges. Firstly, I must thank those of you who played in our last challenge.

TREES AND LEAVES.

I have used the Perching Owls and a kit from Krystal Hartley called Just A Number.

I used Craft Artist Professional v 2 to paper piece the owls on this digital layout. This was done by using Cut out Studio to make the image a line drawing. The leaf in the background was one of the digital punches with the colour matched to the background. The typed letter font is from a kit by Studio Basic called We Are Making Memories.
