Tuesday Morning Sketchers DT card and a reminder

Well something a bit different today because Michelle the owner of The Rusty Pickle's Digital Delights Shop is sponsoring the challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches and most of the Rusty Pickles DT have agreed to make cards for the new sketch as shown below

Here is my interpretation of the sketch and I really enjoyed this one.

I have used the beautiful Peacock image from Rusty Pickles which you can find here. As you can see in the close up picture I have gone wild with the old glitter, I love it to bits and thank goodness for the quickie glue pen too.

 

I then shaded around the picture with green and blue chalk and then I mounted the picture onto blue miri card. The papers I have used are from the Artylicious CD Rom called Peacock Summer Party aren't they gorgeous and perfect for this image. The whole thing is mounted on a black base card. Also the gems are from my stash!!
