Mrs Tiggy-winkle

Hi everyone in blogland, I seem to have been MIA for a bit. I find it much more difficult to make cards in the school holidays. I have been working on a DT project with my daughter though - you will see it on Thursday - if it works out OK!!! I hope everyone has had a good time off if you have kids and are in the UK not sure if it is the same elsewhere?

So on to my card which is using one of my new acquisitions, the Beatrix Potter CD Rom - Tale of Mrs Tiggy-winkle. The papers and decoupage frame are all from the CD and I just added the ribbon, black matting card and the crystal drops placed on top of pink glitter glue.
Here is a close up.............

and I used the fab sketch at ....................

.................. Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

Now onto the other challenges I am entering...................

One Stitch At A Time - Something new (the CD rom),

Quirky Crafts - Girlie Girl,

Pear Tree Design - Floral delights,

Rainbow Lady's Challenge - Faces (the hedgehogs face) and

My Time To Craft - Wild Thing (well hedgehogs are certainly not tame!!)

I look forward to hearing from you and thank you for your visit.

Hugs

Hi Ali, your blog has gone from strength to strength and I see quite a few people have recognised your potential and have you on their DTs. Well done.

You asked me about the Hougie Board last week I think and I forgot to get back to you. Yes I would definitely recommend it. Whilst it doesn't have the traditional score lines of other boards, you know half A4, gatefold etc. etc. The lines are very precisely spaced either in half inches or half centimetres and it takes 12x12 papers which is great if you like a lot of 6" square cards like we do. I used it to make a mountain card with the mountain in the middle and side steppers either side and found it very easy.

Take care
