and I chose to use one of the More Butterflies Sentiments...

I have been working on it periodically over Christmas. I have used gesso mixed with acrylic paint through stencils and glittered on top for the texture in the background. I then added bits of book pages torn up which have been coloured with Dusty Concord distress ink and gold shimmer spray. I have stamped a postcard from a Lili of the Valley set called Background Bits - Notes and then distressed this with the ink and spray. I then used a different stamp from a Chocolate Baroque set called Butterfly Poppy Collage. I used the Dusty Concord distress marker straight onto the stamp and then used my water brush to bring out the colour. Used deckle edge scissors to cut out the piece and us DC distress ink around the edges. Two butterflies from the same sheet cut out and distressed like the postcard. The sentiment has been cut out using the Spellbinders Fancy Tags 2 dies and pencilled around for the backing matt in glitter card.
