It's so distressing

Hello everyone in crafting land, hope you are all OK. Todays card was fun to do because I got to rough up my card. I used some of the ideas on the Just Magnolia site - I used the edge of my scissors along the edge of the purple Core'dinations card I used under the image and the whitewash card under the sentiment. I also sanded the whole piece of card too.

No surprise then that I am entering the Just Magnolia challenge this week - the prize is a whopping $50 from Heidi at Simon Says - Wow. I have used the sketch at Magnolia Down Under shown below, and of course

for both these challenges you have to use a Magnolia stamp, I have used another pre stamped image that I received in a candy win. I have coloured it with a purple Stardust gel pen and my koi water brush. The snowflakes have been sparkled with crystal glitter.

                                             

The sentiment is from a Fairy Doodles stamp set which you can find here. I have further distressed this using my Distress Ink - Dusty Concord, I have also used this around the main image too. I have also punched out some snowflakes from the whitewash card and purple glitter card and layered them up. The ribbon was from my stash with another piece tied on it. The background papers I have used are from Funky Fairys and are called Dots are distressing and Slightly Spotty.
