Let's Ink It Up Challenge #2

Hello everybody and firstly I must say a massive thank you to everyone that played along with our first challenge. You have really helped to make this challenge a success.
If you would like to see the winner and top 3 and our first Guest Designer please check out the Let's Ink It Up Challenge blog.

Now onto our second challenge which is...................

TAGS and/or BOOKMARKS - TWIST must have a

VINTAGE FEEL.

................sounds good doesn't it. BUT please remember you must use a rubber or clear stamps as your focal point we cannot accept digital images. If you are unsure of the rules please check them out here

Our sponsor for this challenge is ...........
.......................Carol, the owner of Close to My Heart, is offering a fabulous prize of a stamp set shown here...........

...................how cool is that (wouldn't mind winning that myself - oh well never mind!!!).

Without further ado here is the tag I made - and boy did I have fun and got my fingers nice and inky!!!!!

I have used several of the Tim Holtz distress inks as a base colour then sprayed a Glimmer Mist on top. I had to let it dry off over night but was really pleased with the result. Here is a close up...........

I used a Christmas word stamp on the background. The main image is from Crafty Individuals - a stamp I received as a prize from Suzy - finally I have managed to use it as it is perfect for the vintage theme.
I inked over the stamp with the same colours as the background then used a gold pen to line the edge.
I then punched out some snowflakes from word paper and glitter card and layered them. The final touch was to add the pearl swirl - rather pleased with how this worked out.

I would love it if you could visit my team mates to see their fabulous creations for some more inspiration.....

Tammy
