Hi everyone in crafting land. What a difference a day makes, yesterday rain today not a cloud in the sky!!Anyway my card today is very special because it will go to a friend of my daughters' who is celebrating her 5th Birthday on Saturday - she loves cats. I used the sketch at Sketch Saturday which is shown below and the additional part of the challenge is pets - well I have two cats!
The image is another one I purchased recently from Pink Gem and is called Bubble Cat and I think he is so cute. He is coloured using watercolour pencils and the edge is chalked with pink. The image is mounted on some Core'dinations cardstock from the ROY.G.BIV set. I have used my scallop scissors to cut the edge and then sanded the edges for the distressed look. The flowers were a mixture of punched and ready made from my stash layered up. The ribbon is also from my stash.
The papers are from Funky Hand It's Funky too and Simply Brushed from Funky Fairys. The balloon paper was a Crafters Companion one but I can't remember which Cd it is from - sorry!The sentiment was made using the Babycakes font from Fonts4Free ( thanks Spyder for the tip off).

Wow, what a cutie. I haven't seen that stamp at Pink Gem but then I haven't been "shopping" for a while - purse strings a bit tight at the minute!! Lovely colours and great take on the Sketch.
