Less is more - not sure

I have been seeing a lot of the clean and simple style recently and love how good the cards can be but am not entirely happy with my first effort. The stamps are from Crafters Companion three birds set, I put some gems on the sentiment to bring a bit of life to the card.

I am entering this in the following challenges!!
Less is More One layer and stamp off the page (not sure if this satisfies the challenge?),

Paper Sundaes - Keep it simple,

One Stop Craft Challenge - Clean and simple and

Stampavie and more - Birds.

Let me know what you think - constructive criticism is encouraged here.

Hugs

I think this sort of challenge is always really difficult as we are so used to piling it on. But the stamps you've used really stand out well. Annette x

Hi hun,
Good on you for giving it a go. It is a lovely card. If I were to be constructively critical (like I've got room to talk LOL) I would have left off the middle branch of birds but other than that I love the addition of the gems and the stamp is real cute. Keep up the good work - it's fabulous.

Really like how the birds on the top are looking over and seeing what's going on over the edge... lol
Fabtastic card:-)

HI
Your card is sweet, cute birdies!
Maybe its the symmetry of the images, maybe if you have some colour on one bird...being the little bird told me on you;d have a focus?
only a suggestion, that popped in my mind
Great to see you

Hi there,
After reading your post, I've just had a look back at your regular style of cardmaking and can only congratulate you on having a go at a clean and simple card.
Your cards are beautiful and I can see how you love your layers and embellishments so this genre must be really different for you.
I love this little image you have used and you could get away with using even fewer stampings of it.
Just a couple off the edge one from each side would probably be enough and I love Mandi's idea of just one bird being coloured as if he's the one who told you!
Your card is great as it is but be brave and enjoy the white space!
Thanks for joining us and we'll see you next time!

Hey hun, isn't this the very devil of a challenge? Can you see my bald spots from tearing hair out? My first reaction on seeing your card? I LOVE IT! It really made me smile. I think Mandi's suggestion of colouring just one bird out of the three is a good one, but I adore it as it is. Hugs Sxx

I like it, I know how difficult it is with using less!

Beautiful card - love the image! I'm totally rubbish at CAS so don't ask me for advice :-) I might follow your lead though and have another go! Love 'n' hugs, Mel xx
